HID for CIVIC EM (01-03)

I have a 2003 4 door Civic.
I would like to install a HID kit for my car.
Did anyone install those conversion kit into the stock headlight?? any suggestions?
I didnt want to do retrofitting/new projector housing yet, and I want to know how the HID looks in the stock housing. Any pictures?? links?? DIY links?

Many thanks

That would be great!!! Thanks.
But the housing for 2004 is different from 2003.
Are you planning to use the stock housing???

what suggestions do you need? its plug n play, cant get ne easier! the output will be greater than OEM but will come at the cost of glaring other people, also looks great

i just installed my hids and it was easy the thing that took the most time was figuring out wear to mount the ballasts once i decided it was smooth sailing. i dont know how to post on hear so i will email them to you tonight when i get some night shots.

HIDs to me were probably the most easiest thing to install. I installed my entire stuff within 4 hours, and that includes removal of the bumper and the headlamp kit and finding a location to mount my ballasts. Thats for both my headlights and my fog lights. BTW, my fog lights are Ebay fogs, it came with just H8 bulbs (I think they're the same as H9) and so I ordered an HID kit from Ebay also for them. The entire thing was relatively easy and straight forward to do. Here are a few photos of my car with the HIDs for my headlights & fogs. Cheers...

BTW, the photos are taken off my Sony Ericsson W810i phone, so the quality isn't exactly the best. But they'll have to do as this is my primary mobile camera, my other one is a Sony HDR-SR8 hi-def digital camcorder so that's a lil bulky to bring along with me wherever I go.

Enjoy. :)

Here are a few pictures of the output of my 6000K 9006 HID headlights on OEM housing. These also include 6000K H8 HID foglights on eBay Fogs.

The glare somewhat shines out from the sides, but directly from in front it doesn't glare at all. The glare happens because cheap ebay fogs doesn't come with the anti-glare thing nor does it redirect beam patterns. It does surely light up the road a lot better though!!

i have a 01 coupe, and i dont know if people found an alternate way of puttin on hid, but when i did mine. i had to bypass my headlights. I hooked my hids straight to the headlights. i have no day-time running lights, and my parkin lights turn on my hid's automatically. the reason being, the oem headhights are the same bulb as the high beams and the day time running lights, and the hid's couldnt tell the difference between the high beams and low beams, unlike he 04-05 models, that have different bulbs for high and low beams. i heard there are hid's bulbs that can do both high and low beam functions, but im not sure. something to think about
