Varsol to strip the paint of the body???

Better be careful or you'll be getting that new paint job sooner than you think.

Can you just peel it off, or is there lots to peel??

Varsol (or Mineral Spirits) will not strip the paint on your car. It only removes wax and grime from the paint but will not negatively affect the paint.

If you want the job done easily, use it.

what i'd suggest is that if u have comprehensive coverage in insurance, you should not touch it. take it and get it fixed rather than messing anything up further. Then claim for insurance.
