Help/Advice Needed: Windsheild Problems...
Hi All, just picked up my EP, when i looked at the car, it was at night so i can't see it clearly, if i saw it at the day, i would able to see the windsheild was replaced and installed terribly.
As you can see, the top rubber, left rubber, and the roof railing seal were not put together nicely at all.
The top part were the worse, it can be pull loose or up easily...
What will you do and what are the solution you suggest on this issue?
Will it helps if i bring it to windhsield guys to reinstall it again? Because the bottom moulding were not installed good too, some tiny spots were poping up, and yes, the water do collect alot in there.
And as you can see, who ever did this car, i think he just put the screwdriver right on the A pillar, it not just peeling off the paint, but now it became RUSTed. In this case, what should i do?
Sandblast the rust spots and use touchup paint?
Please... i LOVE this car and AM PAYING SUPER EXPENSIVE INSURANCE for this car and hope you broz can get how i feel...

that looks like a 96-00 model in which case all the jdm wannabe's call it ek.
as for the windshield problem its kind of uncertain at this time. from the pic it looks normal. the moulding around the window isnt all supposed to be glued flat the edges opposite to the glass dont get glue on it. only the parts thats around the windshield only and from the pic thats what it looks like in which case that is correct.
if you mean there is no glue at all that the points where you mentioned and the moulding it sitting loose then yes take it back to the old place.
but from the pic it looks normal
and the rust problem the only way to solve it would be to sand and paint it. touch up paint is only a temporary fix and it will bubble right back thru

Its a 2002 Milano Red EP Rare Color huh.
And yes, there is NO glue at all on the moulding, it easily flap out by wind hahaha. And it looks like they used the original moulding... they should of replace it when they do the windsheild job anyway.
I guess i'll call back my own guys in to reinstall the sheild and mouldings. but the Rust spot is pain in the @%%^&^%*($!... . . .
