wondering if anyone could give me some advice on this.....
i took the old ones out and the nuts on the inside of the hatch door fell out, are they supposed to be loose like that?

they should be welded in.

yep they shouldn't be commin out like that, drill new holes or get it welded, I have a rear trunk strut bar, only do it if your not interested in having subs, or a small one, I have no room for anything big now lol

im talkin about the arms that hold the hatch open.... not the strut bar, i got one of those, and ya... i got little room for subs now

You're talking about the "damper". I dont think they should be loose or fallen out. Cant you bolt them back up with a wrench?

not the damper, the Hatch strut, when you open your trunk, it holds the trunk open, theres a nut inside the hatch thats supposed to be welded in, but it broke off..... the strut bolts into that nut, connecting it to the hatch
