Thumbs up Got Off Lazy ***

Well, yesterday I finally got off my lazy *** and did 3-stage on my car.... until I noticed this:

:fustrated

it came from some poles that my dad left in the garage, and it fell over, doesn't look TOO bad b/c I tried to buff it out, but it's DEEP as hell

but here are pics of each stage..... sorry for shitty resolution

1st stage:

2nd stage:

3rd stage: (a little dark at around 9:30)

me giving :

you're probs wondering, 1st and 2nd stage look the same.. well ya it does, supposedly 2nd stage gives more of a "wet Look" i dunno..... all in all took bout 4-5 hours including wash, but I think it looks pretty sweeeeeet now

I'm going to go out on a limb here.....all the people who I know that have good results with their car polish (multi stage) have newer cars than mine...ie. audiophilia, si veloz, BOND007, TRXR4KDZ, SiR_YO, etc.

should i be expecting to get the same results on my car (1993)?

because the paint is surely not in the same condition as newer cars.

You'd be surprised the kind of bling you can bring to an older paint job. Key is to use a fine cut polish that will get rid of the oxydation in the paint, and then seal it with a wax. I don't know about Zaino, but on your car I'd use a clay bar to start, then #9 to cut the oxydation, then a paint cleaner to get any fine particles out, then a swirl remover like Meguires, and then a Step 2 from meguires, and finally a wax.

bruno....are you suggesting using Meguires products only?

I need brand here buddy....i'm not a cleaing/waxing guru like marty and neil.

For me it'd be easier to buy the successive steps from one brand.
