I know I am not a guru, but as far as washing the exterior, it was the longest I have done, yet.

Nothing spectacular, about 3 hours.

I bought McG swril remover (cause I saw Zymol in CT, but didn't see Zaino or other stuff...), and a bottle of McG Quic Detailer and went home enjoy a nice afternoon.

I used the dish detergent to wash off the old wax, then used Mother's car wash soap, then applied the swirl remover wax, then Mother's wax. I only did one layer of wax... I was too tired to do 2.

Boy that swirl remover really works. I have so many white spots on the hood and so many tiny little scratches around the car and I can safely say that about 60-70% of them are gone. There was this one wide white colour scratch on the back side and it is gone now!

I think I need to buy some wax for minor or even heavy scratches. But until then, I am quite happy with the result!

Next thing is to take off the hub cap and spray the black steelies...

its like that commercial for that easy wax stuff... the guy is waxing normally and his hand is always moving in a circular pattern... hahaha
