to get a shine on rims
 

hey i just wanted to know what u guys use to get a shine on ur rims. could i use clear coat or is there a special wash to make them shine. thanks

really the best way is to wash them by hand i mean if u want them to look perfect do it by hand...it sux i know but ive tried almost every product.....

I wax my rims too, so the brake dust won't bond to the paint :shrugs:

how about waxing them? that's what i'm gonna try to do this summer. may protect from salts, etc in the winter, and may make them shiny!

this is wut i do.....
go wash them with meguiers.....lather that bitch up nicley(well not me, someone else i get to do it for me)
then pressure wash it...use a towel to dry em
then get the old meguiers silver aluminum cleaner and wax it, until its black and then towel dry it up....looks fresh...and nice and neat
