Frame Damage? pic

insurance wont pay your for your car matter of fact your car is not even safe to be driven ON the road. it does not pass safety. whoever did a safety inspection didnt do it properly. the bumper of a car must be attached to the vehicle on both sides of the vehicle completely which means you cant have rust on the quaters.
the door jam is not structural on that section.

just get her to fix it, and call it a day... the frame damage doesn't look bad at all, looks like an easy fix for most body shops

LOL. i wish i lived in a magical world like you where the older the car and the more unreliable it gets there is no longer a need for a safety.
get your head out of your *** and re-read what i stated. it is illegal to drive a vehicle on any roads in ontario if your car is rusted out.

yah.. obviously the bumper damage was done from the accident... and i don't think he was going down the insurance route. Just get her to fix it. Even if they pay you, what are you gonna get, 1-2K TOPS. plus your rates are going to increase...

also insurance wont pay a grand or two for that car. they dont give out free money. they value the vehicle based on its condition.

I gaurantee you you wont get more than 2000 for that car. My friends car was in the same shape and he got 1200$ but had to fight insurance about it because it was unsafe but the safety was valid at the time so insurance couldnt fight it. I wouldnt charge the lady to fix that POS id just forgive her and move on it is a pos no denying it. One day youll hit a pos beater and youll feel that cars junk and not worth a penny and someone will take you through insurance and itll rock your insurance rates like no tomroow! karma is a bitch wat comes around goes around.

The question was not whether the car was roady worthy...if you know how to read, I don't know. Since when do cars require periodic safety checks other than ownership transfers? Come bring me a cop that will tell me to take the car off the street. PM me for contact info.
Anyway, case closed. She offered to pay, car is in the shop and I'm back to the summer car.
Now I remember why I left this childish 'club'.

LOL wow you just really stupid. a safety certificate ONLY means at the time of ownership transfer it was valid for 36 days. IT has NOTHING TO DO WITH ROAD SAFETY in general. are you that naive and stupid to not know that the vehicle has to be road safe 24/7 365 days a year aslong as its plated? idiot.
btw please do pm me with your contact information so i can pass this info on to mto and the police so they pull your plates and impound your car the next time your on the road.
if you dont know the HTA i suggest you read up on it.
