Flip Flop Trunk PROBLEM
SUp guys i tried atempting the flip flop trunk thing.
But when i closed the hood after temporarily instaling the hinges i noticed that the inner part of the trunk after its closed seems to be more INN like its hard to say but picture this....
Say ur trunk is closed.
u kno top part of the trunk where the spoiler would go.
well the part closest to the window seems to be more in then the outter part of the top trunk.
I did come to a conclusion the reason being the gap the highes create between the trunk arm and the trunk itself when installed.
is there a way to come about this???
i am pretty shure boostzex has the answer since he did this install on many cars.
can u give me some info bro.

sounds like you didnt bend the hinges off set...like are the bolts/screws that hold the hinge to the lid in between the arm and the lid when closed? if so you have to offset the hinge so the lid sits flush with the arm...its hard to say cuz I cant see it...
