fix light scatter problem

i've got aftermarket projectors for the civic and the low beam uses an H3, I have an HID kit but the light output by the projectors is pretty poor and scattered. Is there any way at all to fix this or is there a good set of projectors available for the civic? The HID looks awesome though im just not happy with the scattered light. I've got like blue light and yellow light and making a rainbow type deal arrrrrrrr

Replace those hideous projectors with Hella H9 projectors. Period! Gives a much better beam. They should run about $115 each.

You can even retrofit D2S HID bulbs into them!

Well thing is I have the H3 kit already and stuff and would not want to pick an H7, will I be able to custom fit the bulb so it stays in place or something.

You have the H3 hid kit?
H9 or H7 hella projectors can be retrofitted to accommodate D2S bulbs with little modifications.
Just scrap the H3 bulbs and get D2S and use your existing ballasts and ignitors.

Trust me, there is a huge night and day difference between those projectors and Hella projectors!

Good luck and let me know if you need some more help!

welll i'd rather not spend another 100+ on bulbs i guess I could make a back plate to secure the hid to the projector, the only difference between this and the others is really that the base was made to fit an h3 so it will lock properly but a little metal adapter should solve that problem. I gotta price this out and then theres the pain of opening its all up
