Its funny you ask this because my friend just bought a professional fender roller and he is willing to rent it out to people who need it.

heres a pic

$1000 deposit gets you the fender roller and a heatgun and when they are returned, He will refund you $900 of the deposit = $100 for fender rolling

contact me via email icq (24256568), AIM (FreestylingBruno), msn (markbruno@idirect.com) or email me at mbruno@kankar.com

what is fender rolling!!?!

bbarbulo 04-Apr-2003 10:02 AM

Fender rolling is bending the fender lip out of harms way to fit big tires in or to eliminate rubbing... the way it's done is two ppl... get a small wooden bat. Fit the bat between the tire and fender and push the car forward as you roll he bat... do this back and forth a while while increasing the angle of the bat to create more of an angle on the fender... ppl who put 18s on 6th gens had to do this... I don't know why anyone would be doing this now??

Bruno, this is assuming that you can fit a bat, or anything else for that matter between the wheel and fender lip. I can't even get a pencil in there on mine... maybe I should try with some narrower/smaller tires on... cool, I think I just solved my own dilemma... I'm such an idiot!

LOL, ^^^ the name is fitting :p j/k

Well, I can't fit a pencil in there neither, but then agian, I don't need to roll my fenders :)
