Falken ZE 912

hi guys

What do you think of Falken ZE912's I'm currently needing new tires and just wondering if the Falken ZE912's would be good or better to purchase Hankook ventus V12 K110, I'm not doing any tracking or drifting just casual driving around highway and city. How much road noise do you think I'll hear as I heard from friends that you'll hear alot of road noise but I usually have my stereo turned up and don't really mind the road noise currently in my 08 civic

Road noise won't be a big deal, but those tires overall are...bearable I guess would be the word to describe them. Had them for a year, was not impressed. On dry the had good traction, but once its wet, you really have to be careful cornering and breaking. With a bit of snow, I had 0 traction, and in wet, I would keep slipping on corners while driving with the flow. That's just my opinion really. Compared to some taiwan tires I've driven on, falkens can't stand up to them. Got nankang (sp?) On my car now and its a hell of a lot better tire in dry and wet.

I've had Falken 912's on my Protege5 and Focus wagon. Very great tire overall. You pay less and get a little less stickiness/grip but I found tread wear to be great and handling, esp. in my P5 to be very good. I wouldnt use it on my 2010 Si but for the slow Mazda/Ford, it was perfect.

Oh and I get ALL my tires from Tires23 in Mississauga (I think I'm on my 4th set from them)

I liked my 912's alright, Martin are you thinking of the 615's? I know they suck in the wet, not like I'm saying the 912's were amazing in the wet but even out in BC where it rained all the friggin time I didn't really have any complaints about mine.

Can't really say anything from personal experience about the Hankook.

I had 912s. The camber most definitely did not help. Lol
