Electrical Question
I have 2 LED lights (designed for 12V), and 2 feed sources 12V. One light I want to come on when either source is switched on, and the other light only when one of them is on.
Will this work?
I don't know much about diodes, how they're rated, or which one to use for this setup, or even where to get them? Could somone give me a little help so I can get this setup working?

Introduction : DIODES AND RECTIFIERS
A few I deas I had were, make the 2nd power source from power source 1.
2nd. Use a relay. (Relay is an electric switch)

The power source is the same, just 2 different switches. As for the relay, I'm trying to keep this setup as small as possible, a bulky relay with it's extra wiring is a little overkill for some LED's.
I was wanting to just solder a diode inline like the diagram, thinking the diode I would need is pretty small. I just don't know what diode to use or where to get it
