k today i decided to swap out some non tinted windows for some tinted ones i have and change the drivers side window regulator i pulled out the regulator and teeth were chewed off of it which explains why it would only go up 3/4 of the way by itself so everything was going good !!!!! got both back windows changed got the passenger window changed, i swaped another window regulator into the drivers door hooked up the tinted window and rolled it up. it wouldn't stay in the tracks and it would come up on an angle im like WTF so i took it apart and put the old window back in it did the same thing WTF again i ended up having to drill one new hole for the regulator to attach to the door lower than the stock one im like WTF i took out the new regulator and compared it with the other one that was broken and they looked exact the same ? why did i have to drill another hole !!!!!! nothing ever goes back together like it should !!!!!


anyone else had this problem installing the exact same window regulator?????

I had to do the same thing (drill holes for the regulator). Well actually I'm in the middle of doing it, my drill died just as I started drilling so I have to wait for it to charge. Did it fix the problem for you? I'm drilling new holes about an inch lower than the stock hole
