ef headlight problem??? need help asap thanks

ef headlight problem??? need help asap thanks

Hi i have been noticeing that the colder the weather gets the longer its taking 4 my headlights 2 come on i think the relay is sticking today i wanted to go to timmys and it was freezin at 3am this mornin so i surn the lights on and nothing stil nothing usualy 5-10 seckonds and then it comes on but no so i start driveing around the parking lot going over bumps and stuff until finaly like 1 min later my lights come on



my question is what do u think the problem is ??


if it is the relay sticking like i think were is it ?? and were do i get a new one ??

or if u have one wen can i come get it ??

it has stock bulbs car is bone stock exept motor


but if u have hid im intarested if ya selling them

-is there a problem with the headlight resistors maybe?
-if going over bumps makes them turn on it problem a loose wire somewhere...
thoose are all my ideas

I have ben having the same problem for the past 2 years still can't figure out what it is.

yea i went 2 my mechanik and he thinks it is because the weather is getting cold the electirkal greese in the switch on the stearing colum is thickening up and not alowing the conection 2 conect until it eather warms up is is jiggled so i have been wiggleing the switch and it seems 2 have helped after i wiggle it it comes on sooner than doing nothing

i wil see if i can talke the thing apart and look inside mabie take some of the grees out and get some better ****

maybe wipe it all off and put new grease on.. I dunno if that would stop it from freezing and thickening up but its worth a shot..

humm.. haven't had any problems on my 90 hatch... even in the cold weather for the past few days...
