Ebay Spoilers...any good?

has anybody bought a spoiler off Ebay? I'm talking about the OEM replacement ones...I was looking at getting an SiR spoiler(replica) off ebay...since it's pretty hard to find them...but has anyone bought one of these? the sellers all say it is made of one piece ABS or somethin, and says how all the other sellers use two piece design n such and it'll break/crack lol...

just want to know if anyone has first hand experience with any of them, thanks.

My friend bought a spoiler off of Ebay for his car and it was fine. Although I have heard bad things about the knock off spoilers for stock look. They are usually a little off and fit, but not perfectly.

hmm i see...cuz yea my trunk has a little bit of rust at the bottom under the license plate area...so i've been lookin for someone selling a trunk WITH the SiR spoiler(mid spoiler i think it's known as since it also came with non-SiR models, 99/00)...and if available, in VSM silver lol...

I figured that if i bought just the spoiler, it'd cost about the same price anyway since i'd have to repaint my entire trunk with the repair and paint the spoiler...

but iw as lookin for a trunk with the spoiler on it already cuz it would already be installed from Honda, whereas it's possible to install it a bit uneven if it's from scratch...i think? haha

I sold my spoiler when i bought my car, which i then later on regreated so i bought another one. Found an OEM SiR spoiler. They way to tell from the replicas and the oem ones is that on the oem spoilers they say CIVIC on the bottom. Try to stay away from aftermarket as much as possible. I might be able to get you another OEM SiR spoiler but you cant be picky about colour. lol. PM me if your still intrested.
