DRL install on a 97 american market civic for saftey
Did a search...pulled up 191 pages...looked through a bunch and could'nt find the answers i needed!
I was just gifted a 1997 honda civic ex...its from the states and i obviously need DRL for my safety. I've looked under the dash...above the gas pedal...and cant find the aforementioned DRL relay box? i suppose the canadian versions of the civic are different from the american sold ones. Im guessing by the look of it the wiring harness is completely different? how do i go about wiring in a OEM DRL relay box? is there a DYI. I don't really wanna take the car to a stealership if i can find the part and do it myself. Much appreciated |
how is this still at the top after 24 hours?? no need for a bump...but...bump

i have worked on a car before at a bodyshop i worked at and the guy had an eclipse from the states and just picked up a drl kit from canadian tire said it was pretty cheap and easy to install just a couple wires and that was it now this was a couple years ago so not sure if they still have some but good luck

fuk having a DRL
mine has been disconnected for years |
wiring should be the same and should be pre-existing....all you might need is a DRL module and make sure there is a fuse in the main fuse box under the dash.
I have a DRL module if you wanna give it a shot. |
