Does a 99-00 Coupe Front-end fit 96-98 HB

Hi everyone,

Someone had offered a trade-in for my 96-98 front-end for there 99-00 front-end. However, the 99-00 is from a Civic coupe, I have a 97 HB would that be a direct bolt-on? Could someone please help me out here.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Post Thanks

Thanks alot for your quick response.

But one more question, is there anything I should know ahead before doing the conversion? Like any minor bends, cuts, etc..

Thanks.

You need to change your side fenders as well as your hood and headlights to make them fit with the 99-00 bumper. Unless there is another way to get it to fit by doing custom work.

Well the rad supports are slightly different, so I think two screws from the bumper won't screw-in.

everything is 100 percent bolt on.
except for the tabs that stick out in the front of the radsupport that hold the bumper in the middle up (both sides of the front grille) you will need to cut the tab to be shorter so the bumper fits over it and bore a hole to make the clip to go in proper.

a bit of work and money but very worth it imo.
99/00 front end > 96-98 front end.
