Detailing a new car...

Hey All,

Are there any steps that I should not do when detailing a new car? I was planning on claying and waxing the car but ommiting polishing as the paint is brand new. Any recommendations? (black paint)

What is the best orbital buffer to use, I was looking at the Porter Cable but its seems pricey (is there place in TO to buy one?). Is there a cheaper alternative?

Has anyone use Adam's detailing products? I was thinking of giving it a try. I typically use meguires.

Thanks all.
