de-ambering a clock

de-ambering a clock
has anybody ever done this cause a i have a clock that was painted amber and i cant think of a way to de-amber it ?
so if u have or have any ideas on how to let me know !
also i dont think it matters but i have the 92-95 style clock

sell it for 30 bucks as a amberfied clock... since regular clocks for for around 20 and amber clocks go for around 40... and then buy yourself another clock for 20.. and there you go... you made 10 bucks nad you didn't have to **** around with the clock...
thats the only thing i can tell you unless i was looking at it..... are you sure it was painted or is there just a film over it??

it was painted , i got it from my buddy and he said he painted it ,but he painted the cover and the actual screen too ,the cover im not worried about its the display screen im worried about !

im curious by what you mean when you say he "painted the cover"
if you'd like, i may be interested in a straight up trade since i was gonna use "JDM in a can" to do the same thing.
