Alright. So. i got this lip. 01-03 civic. Put it on the car and it was about an inch and a half too short if that makes any sense. the lip wouldnt wrap around the bumper it was almost like it was too small.

ABS plastic crap.

Long story short i "tried" to pull out all of the slack in the bumper and ended up pulling off the whole corner.

Wondering if its salvageable. im afraid the same thing will happen again because the whole lip is kinda really snug.

I was thinking a **** load of JB weld. and i was going to fibreglass the whole lip anyways before it broke because i knew it would strengthen it but now it would be to fix/strengthen it. What is everyones thoughts. I have included a pic.

I had similar issue with my EG lip. Thing did not want to hook onto one side. Had my bumper off, with some help from a friend we flexed the bumper and pulled hard on the lip. One side cracked at the lip where it hooks up to the bumper. Minor crack, never fixed it and it held up just fine with all the scraping lol

****en had the same issue as you. I used jb weld it held together fine but once i tried to re-install the lip it cracked again. so what i did was extend the lip and bit using fibreglass so it would have enough slack and everything. fit perfectly after that

or you could get a new lip and colour match it it shouldnt be too much
