best products for car detailing?

hey guys i just wanted to know your experiences with different detailing products, im talkin the works...wash clay wax polish..full paint treatment, engine cleaning, and interior too. I know for wax its better to have more carnauba and "world's best wax" seems impressive...but 100+ dollars for a car detailing kit? come on... i heard about the spray on turtle wax ice as well.. but that doesnt really protect the paint as much as it polishes right? opinions and experiences please and thank you

For beginners, Meguires 3 step is good. The polish is real good, the wax wears off pretty quick though...... but yeah the polish gives a nice wet looking shine

here's a couple of pictures of my last car with the 3 step

Meguiars 3 step is not bad, but you can do better. When I started detailing, I used 3 step, and does a decent job.

Now use Meguiars clay bar, Meguiars Polish, and NXT Wax to finish it off. I don't know if these are the best products, but they are good enough for me.

What's best for your car may differ, depending on the colour of your car.

I myself use Meguiars Professional line.

I start off washing the car with PH neutral Meguiars Shampoo. I use the two bucket method to washing, and a wool mitt when washing.

After that I dry the car with microfibre towels, and proceed to clay bar the entire car.

Next I use Meguiars Fine Cut Cleaner to remove any light swirls marks, and that is followed by an application of Meguiars #81 Polish.

Then I seal the work with some good quality wax. In the following pictures I used Gold Class, but have since switched to a far superior, but rare #16 Wax. I usually do 2-3 coats of wax.

I have found Meguiars to be a very solid product, but without proper technique and procedure, no product will give optimal results.

Here are some pictures of my car after it has been cleaned:

those who are recommending zaino should show some results of the detail....or else its just heresay.

zaino is a great product....will probably give you the deepest shine ever but it requires alot of work as compared to a regular synthetic product out there. to get best results...the application, removal and buffing has to be perfect with zaino to make sure you are getting value for your dollar cuz zaino products are not expensive.

my point here is....zaino is not for everybody

this is what i use...always and in order

and here are the results

keep in mind that you dont need to polish everytime you detail....i polish my cars perhaps twice a year but with great degree of detail. in between...all you need to do is to wash and wax. if you drive alot on the highway and in dirt areas.....2-3 rounds of clay bar a year will keep all those contaminants off the surface.

in the end....my belief is that the BEST way to keep the car's exterior long lasting is to wash is regularly.....nothing beats regular washing and if you do...you will notice you will be detailing a lot less.
