My driveside headlight needs to be replace. I want how to change the light bulb?? Do i need to remove the front bumper?

Wait, you are removing the housing or replacing the bulb. I can't remember how tight it is in those civics by the drivers headlight, but you should either be able to squeeze your hand and unclip the plug, pull the boot back and remove the bulb, or go from the inside of the fender liner (like I did with 8th gen. There should be no reason to remove the housing to replace a bulb.

If you still choose to remove the housing, yes the bumper will need to come off. Few bolts underneath, one on each corner and on the top by the hood latch. Gl

Hi, just recently my driver side lights went out too. I had to change the light bulb in the headlights, but decided to take the time to take off the bumper and change the housings all together cuz i had bought some aftermarket projector headlights. But thats not the point...

I go believe you have to take off the bumper in order to replace your burnt out light bulb. It's quite easy.

- remove 4 clip on top part of bumper when you open the hood (near the grille)
- remove 8 clips + 2 screws on the bumper underneath the car
- remove screw where the bumper and fender meet (in the wheel well) - one on each side.
- gently tug on the side of the bumper and pull it off. Don't be afraid, it won't break.

I've also read that you can pull the PS reservoir out of its mount to give you room to put your hands down there to change the bulb. I have big hands so that was not possible for me.
