Wire Tuck/hiding

hey guys....has anyone seen a wire tuck DIY? was looking to attempt this this year...I have seen some sick pix and really clean jobs done...anyone found a place that shows where or how to do this?

No, I think he means engine bay.
It doesn't look that noticeable on a Civic, cause you can still see some wires. On vw's you can't see a thing so on them it looks good.

I searched the web today, and only saw a couple of pics (even on Honda Tech). I wonder if you might want to pose the question there too, hopefully one of those guys who did it might give some insight.

ive seen civics bays where you cant see any wires.

Man those tuck jobs are sick. They make your engine bay look like a real ummm...."ENGINE BAY". No wires anywhere, just straight focus on the engine. Makes the visual appeal much more appealing. But I imagine the process will take a long time and lots of headaches.

I'm going to attempt this in a month or two also..

I'll see what I can find on the web.

Im more of function over looks, its pointless because most of those wires are behind fenders hidden away, pain in the ass working on the car, finding the wires, etc...

ya that definitely looks amazing i wish there was enough de greaser in the world to clean out my engine bay like that

Thats why you do it right the first time, and it looks bad ass

GinoLicious 27-Feb-2006 10:05 PM

Thats very nice... Should i attempt that on my EF, with a rusted out engine bay? lol...

iam_immigrant 28-Feb-2006 12:29 AM

i've always wondered where the hell do all the wires go??
And like arent some of the wires too short to stash away?
