2. Once nut is visable use 17mm socket to remove the bolt from the car

*notice the position of the washers/lock disks on the bolt*

3. Remove 1st two spacers from seatbelt bolt and put aside for later use.

4. Thread seatbelt bolt through 2nd hole on the RXB
5. Replace the thickest spacer that was removed on the opposite side of the mounting bracket so it makes like a "sandwich" with the mounting bracket

*thinner spacer is no longer used but dont throw out incase u need it at a later date*

6. Start to thread bolt back into mounting hole on the body, dont tighten down yet!!!

Repeat Steps 1-6 for Other Side

7. Adjust bar using center adjustment piece so it is snugged up on the sides
8. Check for alignment and placement of side brackets
9. When everything it good adjust bar using centre adjustment piece so that the bar is rigid against the sides of the car

10. Once satisfied torque down seatbelt bolts to factory spec.

11. Now, finally adjust the centre piece one more time (may require you to wiggle bar up and down etc. to get it just right.
12. When bar is fully adjusted lock it in place with the lock nuts on the centre piece (tighten them good)

Almost done!!!

13. Take the car out for a ride, go over some bumps, corners etc to get bar to settle a bit
14. Re-check and re-torque bolts and bar
15. Re-install the bolt caps on the seatbelt bolts
16. FINISHED!!!

*after a week or 2 check the bar and re-tighten if necessary as settling will occur*

The little drive that I took with it from the parking lot to my house I could definetly feel the chassis being more rigid...its a different feeling than with a rear strut bar...and these bars are universal application...almost fits all cars
