Racing oil pan DIY

(this is fact from personal and profestional experience)

Well what you may have guessed from the title, im making a racing oil pan.
We have had a lot of trouble on the race track with losing oil pressure on hard turns with hot hot hot oil.
The problem is that when your racing the oil splashes out of the oil pick up area and gives you a shot of air. This shot of air is detected by the oil pressure sensor and shuts off your V-tec, killing your power leaving the corner going onto the straight. By the end of a sesion you could be doing this on all hard corners.

The simple fix is while you have your foot to the floor you just key off and key on, reseting the ecu and kickin the V-tec in again
If you want to fix it properly you can buy an exspensive oil pan or you can make one.
All the new oil pans do is slow down the oil ability to leave from around the oil pick up, very simply there is a new pan with a plate in it.
