whats the best way to re-finish alumiunum wheels polished.......there fat 5's off a gsr..

polished lip look requires quite a bit of elbow grease, lots of sanding starting low 400, 800, 1000, 1500 wetsand etc. and working your way up, eventually finish it off with rim polish ie meguiars, nano polish etc. you'll be blinginy like shinny chrome I've done it for my bikes and friends bikes. if you want the aluminum look dont go so high with the sanding and then just finish it off with the rim polish and your good easy way to take off the initial paint is to get some aircraft paint stripper and spray it on but be sure to mask the areas you dont want affected
