okay so ive been reading and found a d16a1 which caught my attention. Apprently you can use the pistons from them in a d16z6 block and it will boost your compression up to 12:1 does anyone know or heard of this being done? and also i like the dohc head but it doesnt have v-tec which is a turn off. anybody have some suggestions. Thanks alot

You could also get a D16Z6, use some Vitara pistons, forged rods, and new bearings, then turbo the car to 300whp+.

well i dont wanna go that far but would the d16a1's work in that block? i also want to have 1mm oversize valves but will they hit the head of the piston?

Yes, they will. And your C/R ratio should be about 12.0-12.3:1
