Lambo Doors Instalation :)

For those who don’t think that 15’s are HOT…
If you really want you can get civic lambo doors kit for 200 – 300…
You don’t need much to install it.
1. To begin installation take your fender off and duct tape your door to the car
(I don’t recommend using duct tape, cuz it lives marks and doesn’t hold door as good as masking tape. For those who will use duct tape, you’ll need Goof Off to take marks off)
2. Take off your stock hinges.
(2 outside and 1 inside.)
3. Direct Bolt On Kit will make your life easier. Using old screws install lambo door kit on the car. Do not tighten screws completely. Then… if your kit is 100% direct bolt on… YOU ARE LUCKY, cuz my didn’t fit on doors, and I had to make new holes with thread.
4. Adjust kit so your door fits properly. Tighten all screws!
5. Install gas shock.
6. Adjust kit so door close properly.
7. Put the fender back
8. Do same sh!t with next door
9. DONE!

Okai now the question is where do I buy the kit for $200-300? Let me know if you know of any places.

fingolfin 08-Oct-2007 02:36 PM

Ebay..

so did you use and cheap lambo kit, cause if you did, you just shut everyone up about how hard they are to install

great DIY

drago 08-Oct-2007 05:34 PM

I bought this kit 3-4 month ago from TCC. I paid 300 for it. At that time there were 3 guys with lambo doors kit. One had it for 200, but it was bitch to contact him. Next guy had it for 400 -500 ( I don’t remember). You can get it from ebay 2, but it’ll cost you more.
If you have proper gas shock… u not gonna have any problems with opening or closing. It’s not hard, but it won’t go up by itself.

Wicked writeup!

don't forget, most cars will need inner fender lips rolled or shaved.
