Fixing my Cracked Front Lip

Here is my semi DIY on repairing a cracked Mugen Lip

before and after shot, my front driver side mugen has been busted for about 6 months and recently it cracked even more from tight reverse curb hits it was finally time to do soemthing about it

bascically i used body filler and that stuff is mad hard when dried. Attached 2 of the 3 broken pieces and sludged it from behing and in between. then i did my 3rd piece and i filled in the cracks from the front and smotherred it as well.
20 min

Dried, I then used a sanding bit disc with my new drill and went at it and smoothed out the while side and excess body filler.
10 min.

Primed it and used glazing putty - but shouldnt have used it bc it caused more problems or maybe i didnt use it exactly specified bc i dont have patience, resanded in 4 minutes and primed again
15 min

Repainted whole front skirt and clear coated
30 min bc of wait time.

Installed back on
3 minutes

not sure if you used the regular bondo body filler (the one with almost no flex), but if you did, then next time use a plastic filler or something along the lines of that (it has flex) so that if you bump into the curb it wont chip off
but looks good anyways

That does look mint. I wish I had the same luck with mine, I tried to fix it three or four times and each time last a good few months till the weather changes drastically then it will fall back apart.

you can get it from cantire or walmart i usually goto cantire bigger auto selection i use the motomaster brand. otherwise if u know a sherwin williams around u get ur paint mixed there bc the put in the clear with ur car color and it is alot easier to paint that way and it will prob come out a lil better.
