Hey guys I need some help here. I've got a 1992 Honda Civic LX automatic with a D15B7 and want to change it into a standard tranny with a D16Z6 VTEC or whatever is in a 1995 Civic Si. I just want to know what all I will have to do to do the engine swap, what parts do I have to switch over (wire harness, mounts etc) thanks a bunch.

What condition is the car in? It would be cheaper to just sell the one you have and get one that's manual. Unless your car is in perfect shape without a dung or paint chip, otherwise its not worth it.

Yea I kinda figured, I wanna do this car up a bit before I get an Eclipse, but just wanted it standard. Is it hard to just switch the engine, same automatic but just a higher end model or what not.

pretty straight forward if you stay auto.. you may need a conversion harness depending on yr of engine..

alright then, yea it would be the same model year 1992-1995 so I don't think I'll need another harness, I hope.
