i have yet to try it

my only question is that after all this can you just pull out the rear dash?

That's for an EJ/EM, not an EK (Ek is hatch).

dont need to take out the seats on a coupe/sedan just fold them down and pop the pins in the trunk, take your time. did mine in like 30min.
