You mean fiberglass filler or accual fiberglass? Well it really dosnt matter but real fiberglass with resin is much much stronger. But anyways.

Use a lighter filler, not the regular **** CT sells but when you mix it up its much more liquidy. It also hardens very smooth. Again the ct bondo can be very good if you use a nice clean spreader. and if need be just mix up alittle once its sanded and put it in the pin holes left over.

same can as bondo
.. yea CT has that red crap body filler

Hmm so putty is not good as a filler then ?

dont forget to push out the dents before applying filler if there big enough. you dont want a big mound of plastic on your quarter.
and dont apply filler in small areas, if you do this you will end up with a high spot. cover a large area or larger then the dent is at least. i dont know how you used primer to bring the surface level back up.. that must of taken so much time when you could have just used filler.

applying filler is kinda hard and you need the right tools to make it straight.

to have it perfectly smooth or leveled u most likely will need filler, if its jus a surface rust problem thats not deep then sanding and painting over may suffice.

i just decided to redo my rear quarters im goin to buy the patch panel though. what do you guys recomend fibreglass filler, fibre glass resin or bondo? i have only used fibreglass resin before with ok results
