DIY: Fog light wiring question, how to wire a relay.

I installed a set of fog light a few years ago in my 92 civic si hatchabck. It was one of those cheapy ones from Canadian Tire. The wiring is quite simple. It draws power directly from the battery and it didn't come with a relay. I want to put back the relay to complete the circuit; so that I won't left it on without notice.

My question is on the pin 86, if I don't tap it into the head light. Can I just plug it into the fuse box under the dash, say use one of the optional accessory plug, C919 specific. Will it work?

Thx,
William.

The way you are wiring, is pin 86 power supply to the relay or the switch? Not all relays are the same, so thats why im having a bit of a problem figuring out what you are doing.

Also, the pin c919 is hot in acc/run. if you are trying to feed it power from this pin, it should work just check the voltage since im not sure if it gets full 12v out of it.

Also, C918 is live only with headlight switch set on PARK or ON.

Hope that helps.
