You bastard!

YOU SHOULD TELL PPL THAT THEY SHOULD USE LOW TACK TAPE OR IT WILL PULL THE CHROME OFF! You can make your own with normal tape by dragging it across your jeans or a material of some sort. I tested my theory and if you dont de tack the tape it will pull the chrome off and look like ***.



Then I did it!

I got one of my 88-89 ones i dont need and took it apart, did black housing. Then, I put it back together with just the clips. didnt like it. I decided to spray jdm in a can on the chrome and it is like yellow gold colour with the black housing. Mad pimpin.

what kinda tape were you using that pulled the chrome off?. jesus. there just headlights. you dont need anything special. just dollar store masking tape.

such a bull****ter you did spray them the red. cause i asked you and you told me plus you said it was gonna look sik and now the new ones are yellow.

they do look better then the red. car still under construction? what else have ya done? i will take more pics for you.

yeah those look so sick......is there any way to get the front cover CLEAR tho?? get ridda all those lines and stuff......? and speaking of lights i saw some guy that had his taillights pure red, no white and orange, looked real nice and clean, can you buy those n e where? i've never seen....?

not that i know of, with it being glass, i dont know if theres a way to sand it down without it looking like crap

ya i helped a buddy do his ek front lights and we used a heatgun and it worked fine also we did it last summer but the seal around light was messed cause we got moisture in there and we use all new sealer that that we got from the body shop we worked at .
all in all we fixed it and now no more moisture
