DIY Curb Rash Repair
Found this today... thought i'd share...
it's really good and thorough... and a good quick fix for those of you that can't afford taking it to a rim fix place and paying 50-100 / rim to get it back to normal.. http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/w...uff-repair.htm  |
Hmm... I'm gonna have to try that on this rim...
http://www.imagestation.com/6320996/3981739754 Too bad it's a little more damaged than that porsche.... there's metal sticking up! lol..... I'm sure I can file it down or something |
How do you match the paint colour?
|
Nice find alex. Its gonna be tough to paint it and have it match properly though.
|
Does anybody know if the SiR rims are painted? or if it's just polished aluminum? if it's the latter, I'm SOL on this DIY :(
|
ya it's def not gonna be easy... who said it was? lol it's to save money...
the easy way would be to just not fix your curb rash... or just not get it in the first place... i'm sure some place could colour match a rim for you... or it's a good excuse to repaint all your rims lol... either way it's dooable... not easy though. |
how do ya polish puddy ? :D that is my Question?
