DIY: Painting Interior
So as part of my ek project, I decided to replicate the CTR interior. Finding all black interior pieces is almost impossible seeing how honda only made them strictly for type r. After a lot of research, I came across a company called SEM which mades a line of paints specifically for interior rigid and flexible plastics. So here is what I did to turn my grey interior to sexy jdm black 
First off the Materials Needed:
SEM is a three step process...so you need all 3 cans. I bought 4 cans of color coat and 1 of each prep can. Cost me aprox. $100 (this was for the entire car, including the dash)
Also, your going to need quite a few cloths that don't leave any lint on the piece that your wiping down.
Okay let's get started...
Lay out all your interior pieces
Clean all pieces with some sort of a rough texture (i.e. the back of a sponge) thoroughly with soapy water paying attention to all the crevices.
Once dried...
Spray the piece that your working on with the plastic prep( this will remove all fingerprints, dirt, etc.)
Now wipe of the plastic prep with your low lint cloth in ONE DIRECTION, you don't want to use a circular motion, as you will just ****** the dirt around instead of wiping it off. Be sure to change your cloth often with a clean one.
Spray a light coat of the sand free...
And while the sand free is still wet, spray a light coat of the color coat paint.
After about 5-10 min spray another coat of the color coat paint and repeat until you have 3 coats complete. Wait for a full 24 hours for the paint to cure and....
BAMM! beautiful black interior
The pictures don't serve justice to these pieces! Looking at the pieces after you paint them, you'll swear that they came like that OE.

*facepalm* i painted my old civic interior. it looked stock, but the paint wore off quick on places like door steps. panels survived but by the end of ownership it started fading.
just keep in mind, once its painted its done, no turning back. and its pain to find all pieces again if you wanna convert back to oe colour.

Knew I was forgetting something lol I got all my stuff from National Coatings & Supplies. Great guys to deal with but heres a link to suppliers in Ontario

good point, didn't think so going back lol. From everyone's reiviews I read this stuck dosent wear like the CT interior paint will lol but I guess theres only one way to find out
I will as soon as I get the car in once piece lol. As of now its gutted with no engine... hopefully it'll be ready in a month or so

thats true about the lasting part, i think (if i ever get around to it) i would just piece together all the parts that are actually black. i do want to try the ek center console in my eg, it looks so nice once modded in
guess ill have to order some off the net or wait till next time i go to the TDot.
