i've got a 90 dx hatch that needs an alternator, i want to fix it myself and i need to know what other model year alternators will work with the d15 motor, can i use one from a 96 model year as well? i've found some in parts inventories at wreckers and local used parts shops, but none for an ef... worried about buying something and having it not work. thanks

plug is totally and entirely different. just got a rebuilt one from canadian tire for .... I don't remember.... but it was cheap, like about $100 I think.... maybe. Just did it a month ago.
