I was especially impressed with him standing up and taking the jumping hit from the defender earlier on. If he was Italian there would have been a stretcher on the field and he wouldn't have been able to walk or even open his eyes.... until after the free kick.

no need for comments like that, players from all countries are guilty of diving, not just italians

Yeah I do, and diving makes me sick. I never said it was an exclusively Italian thing, but they're really good at it, and the Italian channel coverage really spends a lot of time showing replays to prove that the players were justified in going down like a sniper picked them off from the rafters because you can see in the replay that the defenders foot blatantly grazed their shoelace. That rolling eyes and barfing thing really does express my opinion of players who dive, though.

Thanks for the condescension too, I had forgotten my place since I don't have soccer pictures in my signature, so obviously I'm ignorant.

thas not why your ignorant, your ignorant because you think diving is an italian thing, when that is incorrect, know im not in the mood to get into an argument about diving because its clearly a large part of the game no matter where you watch soccer, im not saying italians dont do it, im just saying so does everyone else and often to a more extensive degree or more often, rivaldo anyone, figo, i could list players buts it doesnt really matter since they all do it

Ignorance huh? Try some reading comprehension:

Kane2k: "I never said it was an exclusively Italian thing"

caloge: "your ignorant because you think diving is an italian thing"

Here's a hint, before calling someone ignorant, remove your head completely from your *** and store it in an upright position.

if anything, south americans dive more than anyone
like remember Rivaldo when he grabbed his face when he got hit in the leg with a ball. i was so pissed when i saw that.

i have fox sportsworld and they have a lot of brazilian and argentinian games, man there are like 10 dives per minute.

Diving is part of the game, sad but true...Its used to gain an advantage, and if youve ever played soccer you have probably done it aswell...Its not an Italian, Portugese, Brazilian, English, French, European, Asian, purple with pink polka dots thing. Its a soccer thing....Well maybe its an English thing ( Cantonagod) LOL just kidding...well not really English, more a Man U thing...

All joking aside...its pointless to segregate one team or race stating that one dives more than another...

dont EVER watch mexican soccer then man.... i love soccer, but i cant play it down here because their playing style disgusts me... if you burn them they will just punch you, and they pay off the refs, so gues what? NO CARD!
