XBOX DVD Player Question
 

I got XBOX for Christmas and yesterday I went to throw in a DVD player and I had a message on my tv, saying something about an adapter or something that I have to plug into the console...Can someone tell me what I need to watch DVD's on my XBOX and where I can buy it?

you need to buy this remote thing... they sell them anywhere xbox's are sold

ok thx...I thought it was like PS2 when you just put in the DVD and it plays...F($cking Microsoft always finds a way to pull money out of you...

yea xbox's need the controller but have a built in harddrive... ps2 doesn't need the controller but u have to buy the memory card... it's a trade off either way...

I bought the kit when I got my Xbox. The playback is surprisingly good.

i was gonna grab it, but i've got a JVC 3-disk player so..
tho for $40 it's not that bad a deal if you don't already have a player........

DVD Kit for X-Box is about $50. You have to have it to watch movies.

With PS2 you can use it without a memory card and ya don't need the remote.
But for the same price you can pretty much get a standalone DVD which will have a better picture and do more.

well the new ps2's have a built in IR port so that you can now turn on and off the system from the remote (bout time they did that) and now ps2 is a progressive scan dvd player so picture quality is bod mon! and **** mem cards can be had for 5bucks brand new anyways (my lil secret)

but really, thats gay that u gotta buy the adapter to watch movies on xbox...goddamn bill gates, guess he had to buy another unicorn or somethin!

Or you can get a mod chip installed and get the DVD-X 2 software installed so you can play dvd's without the remote + adapter

look on google i'm sure you'll find it... if memory serves the house has 39 bathrooms... and rediculous amounts of everyother room

lets not forget about the network card u have to buy for PS2 to play online!!!

thats crazy... his house doesnt look HUGE but its because over half of it is underground.... :D i want a 97 million dollar house :(
