Couple people in our building felt it here in Newmarket, myself included. Was just a very faint swaying.

Didnt feel anything.

Dunno why this was such a big news story when no one died and barely any damage.

What makes it a news story excluding the fact that its in a realtively earthquake free zone is the number of earthquakes that happened yesterday that weren't reported.

On an average day we get hundreds of small quakes. Yesterday we had dozens of quakes around the world, all of them over 5.0 on the Ritcher scale. That is a huge anomoly and very surprisingly not very well covered so far. Places like Alaska, Colorado and parts of Europe also had decent earthquakes all roughly the same time. Very strange don't you think?

^^^ didn't know that.. that is quite interesting actually

I don't know why people are so sensitive when others mention the earthquake. It is interesting, we don't exactly experience them often and when it happens people enjoy talking about it. Just like the storm tonight, we get storms like this a couple times a summer, yet, people will still point out how cool the lightning is.

Lighten up bro and enjoy the chit-chat section a little more brooooo
