if you want you can send me some food and i'll eat it for you during the day...

I don't want your fridge to pile up full of food or whatever...

that's some dedication tho, one of the guys on my university basketball team observed ramadan and I don't know how he did it, eating early in the morning and then nothing all day even before the basketball game in the early evening and then pigging out after the game... i'd pass out

yeah but when you have 3 hr basketball practices and games where you expend a hell of a lot of energy your body needs food...

i feel like i could ignore hunger if it was just me sitting around doing nothing but after expending all that energy in a practice and then having a game later on where I have to put it all out on the floor, i'd want food...

because it's NOTHING during the day right? not even water... or can you have water?

nada nada....you dont eat or drink anything at all. its not that brutal to be honest....i remember i used to play a couple of hours of tennis after work and before the actual time of sunset and it was all just fine. you gotta tune your body to the schedule slowly but there were days when i just couldnt...so i had to stop on those occassions.

a practice and then a full game of basketball is still intense even you are a tough guy....i wont do it...ill pass out..haha. but still..the human body is a marvel believe me.

no water? that's crazy.

the human body is amazing!! that is of course because it took millions of years to evolve. if you look at early human hunting, we would go days running, no sleep, no food, no water, no stopping... chase down the slowest in the heard and spear it to death after it collapses from exhaustion...

so i'm confused, people who have the luxury of being able to not work during the day, for the week are allowed to eat/drink during their waking hours and Allah is okay with that? What if you could travel to another part of the world where the sun was down, eat/drink and come back within the day, that's okay?

^^ that sounds like a loop hole...

lol what if you get on a plane and travel so that you are perpetually on the dark side of the planet... i.e. night time... you could eat normally...
