What speed internet required for gaming?

My buddy is looking to get online to play his xbox360...
he doesn't have the internet at home and wants to know what's the best speed for internet gaming?

both from rogers and bell...like what package would suffice for him to be able to play online without lag....

Rogers "high speed express" will be more than enough.

Rogers lite kinda sucks. it's got 1/7 the download speed, and 1/2 the upload speed.

here is a newsflash, if you live in a mdu (condo, apartment), they can cap your dloads. They only feed the building with one line.

nice try

they can still track your usage and charge you for it.
