trying to find out actual take home pay

I'm independent right now so what i make and the tax breaks are very different. I've been offered $57,000 a year from a company and I'm trying to figure out wha the take home pay would be?

at that kinda money i'd say pull off about 30% for taxes and shyt...
then once you claim your expenses (depending on what they might be) i'd say closer to 25% for taxes

i know in my bracket i get dinged for 45% every 2 weeks

figure around 30% and you'll be safe.

in accordance with estimates from people here, I'm taxed about 86.34%

If it was striaght income and you didn't make RRSP cont and all that jazz, you average would be 21.65%.

Take home $44,661, taxes $12,339. Acording to ey tax calculators.

Wait a sec.... what does this have to do with a civic??? lol.

You know what... that link might actually be close... but that's only if you have no further deductions other than tax... very few jobs have no other deductions... so it will most likely be less, and if not you might want to factor those deductions in anyways cuz health benefits/pension etc are all good things to contribute to regardless if they are mandatory or not...

I'd think $1500 bi-weekly would be a pretty fair estimate.

I dunno, but I dont think you'll get that much. $1500 sounds about right.

^^ I agree with Luka. I make around that much, and my take home pay is about $780 / week. ( I love getting paid weekly!)

I know benefits and pension will be deducted. Kinda sick that making $57,000 isn't that great.
