Towing a parted-out car ... info please

I have my 98 h/b Civic that i'm raiding for parts. The body in in pretty good shape - usual rust on rear quarters from the leaking tail light and the underside of the car is in excellent shape. (sorry, NOT trying to spam, honest!) I want some of the suspension pieces, among other things, which will mean the car will NOT even be a "rolling chassis" when I list it.

My question is about the car being towed ... without tearing up my driveway. What can I possibly do that would help a tow truck/flatbed operator not tear up the asphalt on my driveway when it's ready to go? I can't imagine it being enough to just put the body up on cinder blocks. Perhaps if I had some plywood sheet underneath or ... ?

Any ideas? Really want parts off this car and really don't want to tear up the driveway when it goes.

PATIA!

As it turns out a wrecker/scrapper stopped by the house the other day. He asked about taking the car and we discussed things. He said with a flatbed it's possible to use wood, as you suggested (good one!) or, in his case, with a conventional tow truck, that one end of the car can be raised on whatever (jackstands, 4x4s, cinder blocks etc) and the opposite end needs wheels.

So now I gotta make a final decision as to wtf i'm gonna do because i'm starting to think i'm better off using the coupe as a parts car for the h/b.
