I rememebr someone reported to the police and waited 2-3 hours for them to come, and than theres a number someone posted for the OPP which is like * or # OPP. Will they actually check out the situation?

they send you a warning letter in the mail if anybody phones in and says "this guy was doing this" speeding or whatever they have no proof so they send a warning letter i guess to scare you in case you where doing it happend to one of my friends cause he liked to peel out in front of my house haha

i think the last reply is false. i volunteer with peel regional police, and i've never heard of any letter being sent anybody. the way it works is the same as every other complaint. a person calls in to the police for something, and they send a cruiser to check it out based on a priority level. if you see a drunk driver, call the police, and they'll send a car that's in the area to check it out. i know this is how it works, because i've recieved similar complaints during my ride alongs.

i read last year in my school's admin. office a yellow form, said the police send out warning letters to those drivng irresponsibly, but u have to fill in a form, and the accused gets a letter. 3 or more written complaints, and they are called to the station.(this im not so sure)

im sure its a yellow form, "Safer driving in Peel Region" or something along those lines....

Whats the OPP number than * or # OPP?

I will just report them and hopefully they will send a cruiser to check it out. Im sorry if someone cut's my dad off doing a right hand turn while my dad has to brake suddenly than we are involved. What if a car can't stop on time because they do the same thing again?

O yea pretend to call the cops, pick up your cellphone and dial numbers than pretend to speak and looking backward to see their license plate.

It seems right to send a cruiser in the area to check it out.

im pretty sure it was true about the letter ill ask him maybe he still has it
anyway i know this doesnt count for here in toronto but this is something similar that was on a b.c. rcmp webpage....

Kamloops Detachment has recently started a pilot project aiming to reduce the incidents of “Road Rage”. Members of the public are encouraged to report unsafe driving practices by calling 374-5277 (Kamloops Against Road Rage) and they will be given instructions on either having a charge laid, or a warning sent to the Registered Owner of the offending vehicle.

just save ur time and don't border coz they don't care
they'll just tell u that a report has been sent out and u'll have to wait till they arrive which is "NEVER"
so I say just beat the crap out of whom ever that was that pisses u off
