Tcc Should Ban The Word "rice"
 

guys, im sooo friggin sick of hearing people bash other's cars, calling them "rice". People have different tates.....personally, i like the graphics and stuf opposed to the "Clean look"....my grandma has "clean look" car too!!! ...just like every car on the street.

I'm almost to the point where i want to say the hell with all of you and never visit this site again.

yep.... there is a thread about it where members signed up to say they wouldn't use that word when speaking about a car....

There have been many threads discussing this as well....some i can't find . . . cause they expaned off orignal ideas.....of other threads.....

but yah ppl choose to modify their car in the way they like it.

it'z hard to get some ppl from using the word RICE it'z mainly the newer generation of kids that have come on the scene that over use the term. Who think they are quote unquote kooler then u.....lol

hard topic to discuss i feel......soo many ppl have there own opinons and beliefs on the proper way or inproper way of modding a car

really there is no proper way.....u do what u wanna do........and that'z it.....who cares what other ppl say.........

I dunno Illest civ... I've heard tons of the word rice being thrown around on the race track .. ussually consists of older peopel in reference to the fast and furious generation... :p

Well i know from many other posts u've been on the track a lot so i will agree with u and say True....

so it relates to the and always draws reference to the younger generation.

i guess u could say......i really dislike the word personally, as i guess all of u do, seeing how we all drive civics, and if u've been out and about usually ur car automatically gets categorized in that cat. of "RICE"......

i dunno....lol

the older generation would probably refer to anything "asian" as rice Jason..

if you dont' want the word "rice" to be used then dont' make ****ty cars that are pointlessly stupid...haha I dont' even recall ever seeing the word ever brought up here in the last 2 years to often. I mean rice is a way to describe the F&F generation cars..that are sooo stupid...so you dont' want it to be used then don't make your car that way...:shrugs: ..what is the point your car looks ugly as ****...I eman some body kit's look nice if doen write...but grafics and stickers are pointelss and make a car ugly....it's alwasy the rice boy's who dont' like the term cause they get it yelled at them all the time....dont' make your car ricey adn you will never hear the term....peopel with bad taste will exist everywhere so...STFU it will never happen and if it is banned here then that jsut goes to show this place is jsut full of ignorant peopel with bad taste in cars...maybe you guy's here it so much cause you are around ****ty car's to much..????honestly I havne't heard the term in over a year...its' liek an old term cause most of the older ricers have gone away or have died street racing..lol or have got to many tickets to afford their 4th gen...if it isnt' teh word rice then peoepl will jstu say POS or what a piece of dog ****...if it isnt' the word rice it will be soemthing else so just dont' maek a car that sucks if you dont' wanna get insulted....:shrugs:

Please guys, let everyone use the word rice just to try and do our part in getting rid of the phenomenon. I'm honestly embarassed to be driving a Civic sometimes. People need to know that they just shouldn't do some things to their cars. Altezza's, pointless stickers, and neon being top of the list.

some cars look really nice if some things are done to it......i.e. altezza'z or neon tubes places somewhere.......

who are we to define the norm for a sexy car?

everyone has their own taste and needs

that'z why we have: minivans, Coupes, Hatchies, Sedans, SUV, to suit lifestyles and ways of life.......

ppl mod their car to suit their way or lifestyle

people have different tastes...yes...but if ur car looks like shiet..then...sorry..I'm gonna tell ya!

not fair..... as stated above by countless people, everone has their own taste, so you, telling someone that their car is **** is wrong. They did that to thier car for a reason. Reason being that what the owner did to his/her car makes it look better TO THE OWNER! stop criticizing people because they have different taste then you, it makes you sound ignorant and stupid.


i dont classify "RICE" as neons, graphix, altezzas, kits, chrome rims........ i classify "RICE" as any cars done up in a very bad quality, like they didnt take thier time, used really bad quality parts, so i dont care if your car is rainbow colored or all carbon fiber, as long as the craftsmanship is good, respect should be givin. (although you are gay if your car is rainbow colored :wink: )
