TCC Rockers, Punks, Metal Heads Unite!

Hey I just wanted to put it out there.

i know that import scene is filled with the stigma that everyone listens to House, Rap, R&B, Dance, Trance...

Whatever happened to Rock and Roll?

I wanna who's out there, and bands you're listening too.

Right now in my CD player I'm spining Tool, Pig Face, System of a Down and I'm looking for a new band to start listening too.

(BTW anyone going to the tool concert on sunday, I'm going to buy a ticket when I get there)

Some of the Concerts I've been since last summer
Rob Zombie
GodHead
Biohazard
Gravity Kills
Clutch
Tool

Hey don't you have to be driving an 87 camaro to be allowed to listen to that kind of music?

Jus kidding!

I don' t know what happened to rock 'n roll.. I mean, I guess it's still around, but just more low profile. Music is like fad, it comes and goes. 15 years ago, Rap/R&B was kinda low profile, if y'know what I mean.

Rock and Roll just reinvent's itself...

Just commercial success that determines what you hear now..

"Music is like a river, you take from it, throw something back in, and it keeps on going..."

Think Chuck Berry said that...

hmmmm...Tool... one of my favs.

Nothing beats Aenima... 46 & 2.

If you like Tool, then you'll like A Perfect Circle. They've only got one album so far, but they're working on a new one right now.

I'm an old school punk but I have diverse tastes... I pretty much listen to anything that they don't play on the radio. Commercial radio disgusts me. My favourite band is the Clash... go figure... and I met Joe Strummer (lead singer of the Clash) in person just last summer (that was too cool).

I'm into:
old school punk
rockabilly
roots reggae
traditional ska / NYC ska
emo
garage rock / mod revival
newer punk
hardcore
... whatever... I hate classifying music

I'm also big into:
old school hip hop
underground hip hop (stuff that isn't about girls, cars, money)
jungle / drum'n'bass
80s new wave
all forms of jazz

I truly do appreciate most forms of music. I will give anything a chance before I make a decision on it.

Ryan, you must share some of your music with me. I wouldn't mind hearing any compilations that you might have. I admire your opinion on commercial radio.
