That sucks bigtime. Lucky you didn't crash when hot tar got shot into your face at 100km/hr.

That's some pretty bad ish, man; I wouldn't take it lightly. Get as much out of them as you can. Get a new paint job and have the damage assessed at Honda.

Wow that's awful. You could have gotten some serious burns from that stuff. Make sure that the company pays for everything. That's just insane.

yeah, make sure you get as much as you can out of it, that's rediculous, even if it's not the drivers fault it's faulty equipment... either way the company should reimburse you

Commet cleaner would be a bad idea... they use it to scrub pots and stuff for a reason. If you use that or any kind of dishwashing soap you'll be leaving a lot of fine scratches all over your car. There's like small grains in that Cleaner which is what scrubs the pot, so basically you'll be scrubing the clear coat off your car! Not good.

I would use something like Goo Be Gone or I think its Vartathol or something that you can get at C.T ... Its used to remove overspray when you paint your car, but would remove tar in an instant. But I wouldn't recommended it if your car was just painted, or if you don't have a clear coat.

That sucks. I hope you can get everything fixed up because of the faulty equipment.

your car can be re-painted but the skin on your face is a different story. you've got a legitimate case against this company unlike that old lady who sued for millions over spilt hot coffee from mcd's. i'd get some professional legal advice if i were you.

why is everyone out to sue for what could have happened? it was a stupid mistake, you weren't hurt. if you get everything taken care of your car and made happy in that regard.. whatever....

since when do people owe you anything for bumping into you in a mall? accidents happen.

People complain about insurance and then immediately talk about sueing for everything as soon as something happens.

is there no logic?

idiots dealing with criminals. the world is going to hell.

sucks about your car man. don't do anything to it before the other company responsible takes a look at it and get some advice from body shops..

but make sure its *FREE* legal advice from one of those lawyers you dont have to pay unless they win... im not saying use one of those lawyers but at least get some FREE advice from them on what extent you can take this... but sorry about your car man... i know it sucks... have you tryed cleaning just a small piece of it to see if it even will come off?? or are you just letting it alll dry in there until the company see's it lol..??
