Sunday Car Shows on TNN..

You guys/gals watch any of the car shows that are on Sunday?
Whats your favourite. Mine is either Trucks or Horsepower TV. Horsepower TV had a civic in there which they called it, Budget Honda. It wasn't that bad of a car. The new car show is Super2nr TV. Thats pretty good too, although i haven't seen enough shows to make it my favourite. So, whats your favourite show?

Car and Driver Television is my favourite out of the block on TNN. I find that Super 2NR is not too bad. I usually just watch the entire block of shows because they sometimes have neat stuff on Trucks and Horsepower TV.

There are shows on Speed Channel and other channels that I enjoy watching (and I find better than some of the TNN shows), including: My Classic Car (Speed Channel), Autoweek (Speed Channel), Dream Car Garage (Speed Channel), Motorweek (PBS and Speed Channel), and Motoring (TSN).

Yup, thats what i heard. A B18C1 (GSR) is going in. That'll be really cool. I wonder if they'll be hook up all the stuff that they had on it before?

yeah, are you sure it'll be Project honda? Cause why would they waste all their "budget" money on parts that will come to no use when they get the swap? I heard it'll be a 1995 Honda Civic DX. Was that project honda?

yup... it was the same car.....

they just did what almost everyone of us did......
try to make a d15 fast... then realize it's not gonna happen... so the only thing left to do is swap

hahaha. Thats funny. ITs almost on. Did they go over their budget with the swap? Or did they get it dirt cheap. I cant wait to see it.

i taped it...if anybody wants to watch it.

it was a complete swap...they swapped the d15 to a b18c1 and added zex cams, a fluidyne rad, a zex intake, new clutch, flywheel, chikara headers, and a timing belt.

they jumped from 130hp with NOS to 170hp without NOS.

they said the engine costs between $3000-$4000, but didn't mention the price of whole swap.

the car looks good, but i hate those stupid white stickers, and the cheesy rims.

It was without NOS? Thats kinda hard to believe AT THE WHEELS. Don't they have 170 at the crank?

I've been watching shows like that since I was 12 I feel like such trash every time I tune into TNN But Shadetree Mechanics (and now Crank and Chrome i think) are the original TV mechanics. Those guys rock!!! Yeah, Chuck from Horsepower TV is not bad....but I don't like what they've done to that project Civic. It's too bad about it. Trucks is a great show.... once they had a Mercedes UniMog on there
